Exante
Company Overview
Exante is an online brokerage company that allows clients to trade on a variety of different financial markets. They are able to invest in Bitcoin, futures, options, forex, stocks, ETFs, hedge funds, precious metals, bonds, and more. This company is based primarily in Malta. It tags itself as a "Next Generation Prime Broker."
Account Types
There are several different types of accounts that are available through Exante. There is a VIP account that allows people to trade practically as much as they want, although it requires a higher amount of money upfront. There are also institutional accounts that can be used by groups or organizations, rather than by individuals. Managed accounts are also available for those who have many different trading accounts all over the board and need some minimal assistance with regards to making sure that the account is managed correctly and that the books are kept. Finally, there is a demo account that is available for people to use to try out trading without fully committing to the platform or losing any money. The demo account is only available for a certain amount of time, after which a decision needs to be made.
Commissions & Spreads
With Exante, the spreads begin at 0.1 pips for EUR/USD, 0.1 pips for GBP/USD, and 0.1 pips for USD/JPY. These are all starting spreads. Commissions for Exante are as follows: 0.005% on all Forex trades that are made, 1.7 EUR on all futures that are traded, 0.02 EUR for each share when stocks are being traded, and options are 1.50 EUR per trade.
Trading Software
The trading software that is used by those who use an Exante broker is the Exante Online Multi Product Platform. It has a number of different tools that can be used in order for a trader to be truly effective. These tools include account alerts whenever an account should change by any substantial amount, portfolio performance analysis that makes it easy for people to make changes to their portfolios in order to make them more profitable, a portfolio watch list, streaming quotes and charts that deliver all of the information that is needed in real time, and stop and conditional orders which helps to minimize risk. The trading platform can also be used on mobile devices because it is fully responsive, which allows traders who are travelling to continue capitalizing on opportunities. Unfortunately, there is no web-based trading available through Evante. One click execution is another huge feature on Exante because it helps make sure that the trades are executed as quickly as possible, allowing opportunities to be seized before they expire.
Deposits & Withdrawals
The minimum deposit that needs to be made when a person first joins Exante is 10,000 EUR. This deposit can be made through a wire transfer. This is the only option that is available. Withdrawals can be made at any time, except they will also need to go through a wire transfer to an eligible bank that will be able to accommodate the transfer. Depending on the account that is obtained, a certain amount of money needs to be kept in the account at all times. Multiple accounts can be held and it is relatively simple to transfer money from one account to the other.
Customer Support
There is customer support available twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. Customer service representatives can be reached online through email or by telephone in English, Chinese, Maltese, German, Lithuanian, and Russion. There are also instructional videos and other information available for those who have just started to trade.
